Miss Jonquille Chantrey talks to Good Housekeeping about her favorite skin products

With so many skin products popping up all over the market on a weekly basis, it’s hard to know what’s really worth spending your money on and adding to your routine.

Right now, jelly-based products are having a moment but last month it was all about face mists. In an effort to find out what’s really worth investing in, we spoke to Miss Jonquille Chantrey and asked what hero buys always have a place in her bathroom cabinet.

Dr. Jonquille Chantrey, Cosmetic Surgeon and International Aesthetic Lecturer, swears by a Vitamin C serum and Hyaluronic Acid in her skincare routine. In particular, it’s SkinCeuticals CE Ferulic and HA Intensifier that hold a place in her bathroom cabinet all year round.

SkinCeuticals C E Ferulic Serum, £135: “CE Ferulic neutralises free radicals by potent antioxidant action, protecting from harmful environmental pollution and UV rays,” she said.

She added: “It contains a high strength of 15% Vitamin C clinically proven to be active. It also helps to improve the appearance of fine lines and sun damage without causing any skin peeling, reducing downtime for busy people like myself!”

The HA Intensifier is a hero buy for Dr. Chantrey because it’s not oily and works well on the face, neck and décolleté.

SkinCeuticals H.A. Hyaluronic Acid Intensifier, £85 – “HA Intensifier has been clinically proven to deliver high strength hyaluronic acid to the skin. This ingredient increases water content and hydration which creates a plumper skin surface,” she said.
