What Is A Dermaroller™?

A Dermaroller™ is a special tool that is used to treat a number of skin conditions. It’s a safe, highly effective technique that has risen in popularity in recent years thanks to its amazing results. Dr Chantrey has worked in cosmetic surgery skin regeneration for a number of years and her expertise has attracted patients from around the world. She is recognised as a key expert in Dermaroller™ techniques.

How Much Is The Dermaroller™ Treatment?

The Dermaroller™ treatment starts from £300 at ØNE aesthetic studiø, but this can differ depending on what is required and the area in question. A full medical consultation will be completed before the procedure to determine costs.

What Does The Treatment Involve?

Before every treatment, a topical anaesthetic cream is applied one hour before to the areas of concern. This is to make the procedure more comfortable for patients. Then, the Dermaroller™ tool is used to create small punctures in the skin’s surface. This activates the skin’s fibroblasts cells, when then stimulates the production of collagen.

To achieve optimum results, a course of 3 to 4 sessions (6 weeks apart) is recommended. The time in-between treatments allows the skin cells to grow, boosts blood supply and maximises collagen production for beautiful, glowing skin.

What Can Be Treated?

A Dermaroller™ treatment can be useful in improving a variety of skin complaints, such as:

Results can vary from patient to patient, depending on the severity of the problem and the area treated. The overall aim is to encourage repair and rejuvenation of the skin for an improved complexion, whilst dramatically reducing the appearance of imperfections and scars.
