Acne Scarring Treatment

Acne Scarring Treatment

The form of acne scar treatment that we have to offer here at ØNE aesthetic studiø has been pioneered by Dr Jonquille Chantrey. The Microlift™ is a treatment that helps to diagnose patients that have suffered from acne scarring.

What Is Microlift™ Acne Scar Treatment?

Microlift™ is a safe skin treatment for acne scars that is non-invasive. It helps to rejuvenate the skin and repair the scars that have formed from acne scars over time. As a result, you should expect to feel smoother skin that has an even-toned appearance. Acne scars on the face appear less noticeable as a result.

The downtime is relatively quick and the results of the procedure can be seen significantly after a few months. Skincare management is important however so that the acne can be controlled and further scarring is prevented. Details of how this can be made possible will be discussed during your consultation.

How Is The Procedure Conducted?

The Microlift™ acne scar treatment in Manchester ØNE aesthetic studiø provides is in the 4 steps:

1. Subcision

The tissue and scarring is first broken down and loosened with the use of fine needles.

2. Injection Of Hyaluronic Acid Mesotherapy

To help plump up the scars, Hyaluronic Acid is injected into the skin to help provide hydration which is naturally found in the skin.

3. Fractional RF Microneedle Treatment (FRM)

The next step is to stimulate new cell production in the skin and improve blood supply to the scars once they’ve been hydrated. This is done using Fractional Radiofrequency Microneedling (FRM) treatment which targets specific scars through fractional radiofrequency and encourages the production of collagen. This method can be conducted in different ranges, either through non-invasive range frequency or high-focused ultrasound. Whichever modality is suitable for you will be discussed during your consultation.

4. Dermaroller Medical Microneedling

A different micro-needling device is then used to treat the whole face. The idea of this is to produce new collagen by creating little injuries in the skin that causes it to repair itself. This provides an overall better appearance of the skin and makes it look healthier.
